Classic Swiss Cheese Fondue
Serves: 6
Ingredients
1 clove garlic, halved
1 ½ cups dry white wine
1 lb. Board’s Head, baby Swiss cheese
3 tbsp. flour
salt and freshly ground pepper
cubes of French bread, apples, veggies
Directions
1. Cube or shred cheese.
2. Rub inside of fondue pot with garlic; discard garlic. Heat the wine in the pot until almost boiling. Add the cheese, dredged in flour, by handfuls, making sure each addition has melted and blended before adding more.
3. When all the cheese has been added and the mixture is smooth and thick, stir in salt and pepper. Serve with the bread cubes, apples and veggies for dunking.
